What is bid writing software?
Bid writing software (often "RFP response software" or "proposal management software") helps suppliers respond to formal tender documents at scale. The core jobs: import the RFP, build a re-usable answer library, generate first-draft answers (increasingly with AI), track compliance against the buyer's requirements, coordinate the response across a team, and export a clean Word or PDF.
AI tender writing software is the same category with an LLM at the centre: most established platforms (Loopio, Responsive, Qvidian) ship AI features as add-ons, while a newer cohort (AutogenAI, Arphie, DeepRFP) is AI-native. The trade-off: AI-native platforms generate stronger first drafts on day one; established platforms have richer collaboration, integrations, and security.

Methodology & disclosure
How products get added. Buyer-side bid-response tools only: we don't cover procurement-side platforms like Coupa or Jaggaer here. Products must have a real, reachable product and a documented vendor URL. We do not run sponsored top spots.
How we verify. Every fact on a review page is sourced from vendor-published material: the homepage, pricing page, security/trust page, features page, customer pages. Each product page lists the source URLs. We refresh per product on a 6-month cadence; pages older than 180 days show a banner, pages older than 365 days are auto-set to noindex until refreshed.
Capability coverage %. We score each product against a shared, weightedcapability taxonomy (core workflow, team / process, integrations, security, Irish-procurement fit). The percentage is a coverage measure, not a quality verdict. A platform with 100% coverage can still be slow, ugly, or expensive for your specific use case. Read the review text and trial the product before deciding.
What we do not do. We do not compute a quality score. We do not scrape or aggregate G2 / Capterra / Gartner ratings. We do not accept payment for placement. We do not run affiliate links (if we ever do, they will carry inline disclosure per FTC and EU rules).
