Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) is Ireland’s first technological university, formed from the merger of DIT, IT Tallaght and IT Blanchardstown, with major campuses at Grangegorman, Blanchardstown and Tallaght. Strategic Context

TU Dublin’s strategic priorities include brand growth, digital transformation, and expansion of its physical and academic footprint, underpinned by an ambition to substantially grow awareness of the TU Dublin brand and become Ireland’s largest university by 2028.[7] The university is committed to climate action and intends to implement Green Public Procurement (GPP) processes for new sourcing, alongside energy management initiatives such as ISO 50001 certification, which will shape demand for more sustainable goods, services and works.[6] Its Procurement Policy emphasises aggregation of spend, use of national and EU frameworks, and compliance with public procurement regulations, indicating continued consolidation of categories and framework-based purchasing rather than ad hoc tendering.[2][4]
