Summary
‘The Rebuilding Together – Building Healthy Communities’ Peaceplus Project is a large-scale, cross-border regeneration and social inclusion initiative supported under the PEACEPLUS programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project represents a total investment of €5,722,677 and will be delivered over a three-year period across rural border communities in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The project seeks to address long-standing health, social, and economic inequalities in border regions through an integrated programme of capital regeneration works, service delivery, and community-based interventions. Central to the project is the redevelopment of a derelict building into a Community Health and Wellbeing Hub, alongside the delivery of targeted mental health programmes, social and community hubs, and the expansion of essential health and wellbeing services.
The project is designed to strengthen community resilience, improve quality of life, and promote sustainable rural regeneration through cross-community and cross-border collaboration. The Economic Operator (Integrated Consultant Team – ICT) will provide full professional services for RIBA Plan of Work 2020, inclusive of all deliverables, in response to evidenced social needs in the Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan and Leitrim border communities.
The ICT will deliver comprehensive architectural, engineering, and project management services to support the design, procurement, and delivery of the capital works schemes outlined below. RIBA Stage 0 (Strategic Definition) & RIBA Stage 1 (Preparation and Brief) have already been completed.
