EPS Opens €280m Further Education DPS as European Commission Drives IT Spending

This week's standout Irish public tenders — what to watch and where the deadlines fall.

The Education Procurement Service has launched a Dynamic Purchasing System for contracted Further Education and Training services across Ireland’s ETBs, opening a significant long-term route to market for FET providers. Alongside it, the European Commission’s DG BUDG is seeking suppliers for financial IT systems development and financial support services, with notices that Irish-based consultancies and integrators will want to track closely.

IT Services

The dominant notice here is the European Commission DG BUDG’s call for development, implementation and operation of financial IT systems, a framework that will attract responses from large system integrators. Closer to home, Cork County Council is establishing a single-party framework for a Digital Services Development Platform, worth up to €2.5m, offering a more accessible target for domestic digital agencies.
