Summary

Pre-Qualification for a Public Service Contract for the provision of Public Bus Services – Dublin Commuter (DCOM). The scope of the Services is currently expected to comprise but not be limited to the following principal obligations: • Provide depot facilities, staff facilities and all other facilities as required by the Operator for the purpose of operating the Public Bus Services on the Dublin Commuter Routes; • Safely store, operate and maintain the Fleet provided to the Operator; • Operate reliable and punctual public passenger services to meet service specifications and contractual performance standards; • Provide customer care services; • Collect, ticket and reconcile passenger fares; • Provide revenue protection activities; and • Provide operational data to input to the Authority’s passenger information, journey planning systems and its contractual performance monitoring systems.

It is anticipated that the contract will be for a term of seven years and a maximum contract value of €157,000,000.
